Twitter Spaces Archival

Something that I find helpful post event is saving the audio & making an otter file so that folk can interact with the event at a later time. Some friends have asked, so here’s how I have done it in the past (although there are most certainly more ways to navigate this).

  1. Save your Spaces recording:
Twitter Media tweets, " Audio recordings. Recordings of Spaces (hosted in the past 30 days) are now available for Hosts. The future can be found in the 'data' folder of your Data download."

I like to use Otter as a quick solution to share audio & transcription. Editing the transcript will make the audio properly accessible for others as well. There is also the option of, instead, saving the audio/transcription in a shareable document or blog post.
